Just booted up my computer and found a morsel of oddness. I'm currently posting this from Chrome, because when I tried to start up FF, I found it was first of all suddenly very slow, sluggish -- it's not churning the HDD, it's just taking extra long to start, and to load up pages...

...and second of all, has what I can best describe as a 'malformed' UI. Bookmarks are not being displayed in the bookmark toolbar, nor are the bookmark toolbar bookmarks even appearing in their section in the bookmarks menu -- but if I go into Organize Bookmarks, they are clearly still there.

In what must somehow be related, the scroll bar in the drop down menu for the awesomebar is, quite simply, on the wrong side. It's appearing on the left side, instead of the right.

Several (slow) restarts haven't resolved the issue

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox
Actual Results:

Expected Results:

Obviously not a typical problem, something obscure being triggered or corrupted.

I don't know my way around the Mozilla/Gecko files, but certainly, I'm able to check out stuff, so if anyone has any hunches they would get me to check out on, throw them out there.

Ok, as I'm playing around with it, more **** is revealed. Looks like I didn't look hard enough the first time.

The awesomebar isn't working. At all. As it, it doesn't pop up any suggestions.

Scrollbars are ALL on the left. Not just UI ones.

A lot of CSS doesn't seem to be rendering, I'm not sure yet if this is all CSS, or just hodge-podge whatever-the-hell-i-feel-like-rendering-i-will. Some pages look pretty complete, but that could be them just coded visually from the X/HTML side.

Mouse scroll (rolling the mouse wheel) isn't working. Scroll click scrolling (clicking the wheel to scroll) IS working, however.

Please try to start Firefox from a new profile. It sounds like you either installed something like an ad-on, or a file got corrupted. A new profile will fix all that (of it should). also, for the future, please try to keep only one bug per report.
This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version.

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile,, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.
