An overflow? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download a >4GiB (or perhaps > 2GiB) file 2. Look at the information given in the "Downloads" window Actual Results: "141 MB" is displayed (Will post a screenshot) Expected Results: "4236 MB" displayed
Screenshot, as promised.
To avoid any confusion, 4442654720 bytes is the actual size of the file (as reported by "du -b"), which equates to 4236.8 MiB, or 4.13 GiB - so 4.1 GiB to 1 decimal place. The 4.2 GiB mentioned in the bug report are the size as reported by ls etc., i.e. disk usage.

This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
