When launching Firefox and connected to a known network (such a WiFi network) Firefox should be able to automatically select a profile you have preconfigured to provide the appropriate settings for that location.

Such locations could include Home, Business, University, School etc.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Goto the preferences dialog in Firefox
2. Select a "locations" button
3. Create a location and assign the necessary settings for the location
4. Save the profile with the appropriate information (such as WiFi network)
5. When Firefox starts it should look and see if the particular location exists for the settings of the computer (such as WiFi)
6. If a location is found the settings could be automatically be applied or the user could be asked if they want to load the profile.
This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version.

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.
