459634 - Seamonkey 1.1.11 to 1.1.12 Update does not work! 4 trais before realising the problem

after updating seamonkey opens with the version1.1.12 and reminds the noscript version is not up to date. The new version of noscript gets to installation.
After rebooting the seamonkey, version is set to 1.1.11!

Same problem without updating noscript: After closing and restarting seamonkey.

Additional problems: When starting the email-funktion:
The windows for adding the passwords aren't active. I need to click two or more times to activate, filling in passwords for several email-accounts!

Using XPro, sp3++. No problems with firefox 3.0.3, Thunderbird 2.0.0.17!





Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Terminating all active programs und tools; virusprotection, antispy etc,
  stopping internet-connection via zonealarm.
2.Starting <seamonkey-1.1.12.de-AT.win32.installer.exe>. No proplems instaling
  the update using the default option. Seamonkey starts automatically, showing
  under help,..., verson 1.1.12!
3.After reboot of the PC and starting seamonkey again, the version 1.1.11 is   
  anounced and the startpage with notice whith newer version 1.1.12 is shown! 
Actual Results:  
After reboot of the PC and starting seamonkey again, the version 1.1.11 is   
anounced and the startpage with notice whith newer version 1.1.12 is shown!:

"Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 SeaMonkey/1.1.11" 

Expected Results:  
..., ???, !!!

noscript, script-manager, quick locale switcher, customize-google are installed addons. I use the classic theme of netscape.

XPro sp3++

Up to the update 1.1.12, I had no problems following the updates of seamonkey for "~ more" than 2 years!

14.10.2008, "way around" ;the problem occurred in cooperation with noscript!

Today I tried again updating without noscript and it worked fine.

After restart, noscript-funktion was not available. 

I tried to install this plug-in new, from plug-in page.
A noscript-instal-error was shown, but the version of seamonkey, this time remains on 1.1.12!

After restart, seamonkey opens with the noscript-page.

Now updating noscript was successful, no instal-errors!

Afer restart the version of seamonkey remains on 1.1.12 and noscript-funktion is 

available again!

SM 1.1 has been discontinued. You may want to check the preferences starting with general.useragent. in about:config and reset the ones that are wrong. As far as I remember SM 1.1.x shows under Help what the general.useragent.* preferences say, not what the actual version is. SM 2.0 and later always shows the correct version in that screen. Please update if you can.
