Details

The demos for SVG filters for HTML content cause a my Xorg to hang. Not just that it is using up 100% CPU, it is also completely unresponsive for a short time (1-2 seconds). Even my sound starts to stutter. Scrolling the iframe is very choppy, but even toggling the circle size makes Xorg hang for half a second. Not sure what is going on, maybe it's even related to bug 452048? This is with Xserver 1.5.1 and nvidia drivers 177.80. Firefox compiled from source with a few patches on x86_64 Ubuntu 8.10.
