This could be bug 398817. Are you having Firefox clear private data at shutdown?

Yes, I have Firefox set up so that private data is automatically deleted when you quit, so the browser history.

I do not like it if you on my surfing history can see, nevertheless, I would occasionally like to take back the function that is still existing / open tabs the next time you start Firefox can restore. Until Firefox v2.x I have always had Firefox on the Windows Task Manager to kill (end process). I am delighted, as then Firefox v3.x this new feature to restore tabs and then brought back as a disappointment. I would argue that this feature is not on the browser Histroy, but on its own Histroy should fall back. This would also only a short time the pages are stored, which can realize when you restart restore wants. All other surfing traces e.g. Browser-history is then deleted, so the privacy is largely protected.

It can not be because in the sense that there are two functions which are mutually cancel. I think that many leave their traces in the private end delete or turn off the browser history function entirely, just as I do. It would be great if you could set up Firefox so that you only delete private data can (at the end) and yet at the "last open tabs when you restart restore can" fall back.

Ja, ich habe Firefox so eingestellt, dass die privaten Daten beim Beenden automatisch gelöscht werden, also auch die Browser-History.
Ich mag es nicht, wenn man über die History mein Surfverhalten einsehen kann, dennoch möchte ich hin und wieder gerne auf die Funktion zurückgreifen, dass man noch bestehende / geöffnete Tabs beim nächsten Start von Firefox wiederherstellen kann. Bis Firefox v2.x musste ich dazu immer den Firefox über den Windows-Task-Manager killen (Prozess beenden). Ich freute mich, als dann Firefox v3.x diese neue Funktion zur Tabs-Wiederherstellung mitbrachte und dann so eine Enttäuschung. Ich plädiere dafür, dass diese Funktion nicht auf die Browser-Histroy, sondern auf eigene Histroy zurückgreifen sollte. So würden auch nur die Seiten kurzzeitig gespeichert werden, welche man bewusst beim Neustart wiederherstellen lassen möchte. Alle anderen Surf-Spuren z.B. Browser-History wird dann gelöscht, sodass die Privatsphäre weitesgehend geschützt ist.

Es kann ja wohl nicht im Sinne sein, dass es zwei Funktionen gibt, welche sich gegenseitig aufheben. Ich denke, viele lassen ihre privaten Spuren beim beenden löschen oder schalten die Browser-History-Funktion gänzlich ab, so wie ich. Es wäre super wenn man den Firefox so einrichten könnte, dass man sowohl private Daten löschen lassen kann (beim beenden) und dennoch auf die Funktion "Letzte geöffnete Tabs beim Neustart wiederherstellen lassen" zurückzugreifen.
