The Release team would like a few changes made to the build inventory page at http://build.inventory.mozilla.org

- Make the notes field editable

- Make the OS field editable

- If possible, change the 'purpose' field from a simple drop-down to a set of checkboxes which have the following choices:
'unittest', 'talos', 'build', 'buildbot master', 'staging', 'production', 'release', 'obsolete'

- Add a new simple text field called 'Pool Name'

- We'd like to change the product / repo branch fields into a single field which indicates the product and version that the machine is being used for. This should be a simple text field called 'Product Series'. Please don't remove the old fields until we've filled out the new Product Series field for existing machines.

Thanks
Also, while its possible to sort by different columns, when doing "export to csv", this does not preserve the sorting order.
Also, (from #442828), we need edit permissions on the "Server Model" field, and an additional field for "RAM".

Also, a simple line counter, per row?

(Its hard to tell if a machine is missing without manually counting down the full list or having to do csv exports and resorting...)
I'll just throw this in here as well, qm-pvista-trunk04 is missing from the inventory. It was created in bug 433642.

Is that related to this bug? Missing VMs are auto-added.

The server field should be static and is set when machines are first inventoried by IT and setup. When would you envision the server model changing?
btw, i'm okay with the changes in comment #0.
qm-pvista-trunk04 is a physical machine and thus not auto-added.

Done.
I think I can call this bug fixed now. I added everything with a couple of exceptions:
> Also, a simple line counter, per row?
What is the use case for this? I didn't want to just add a number to the left of the row, because resorting the table would make the counter useless.
> Also, while its possible to sort by different columns, when doing "export to csv", this does not preserve the sorting order.
I didn't add this, be cause it is pretty simple to sort the CSV once it has been imported in some sort of spreadsheet program.

Can you update the bulk edit functionality with the same changes?
