If browsing the WWW and needing to research several web sites. pdf files will open, and can be read, but oh my goodness do not close the pdf file when done reading it, or all the work on any opened mozilla firefox pages go away. All the interim work which is done online disappears. The computer needs to be restarted usually, as it hangs up and takes a while to close mozilla, I usually have 20 + pages in my research endeavours. And I am getting where I need to use IE instead or really really watch and open pdf as html or ARGGGHHHHH!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open some web pages and leave open in firefox
2.open a pdf file any will do
3.close the pdf file ARGGGHHHH all pages go away.

Ok, let me know how this works out for you. It is most likely because of that old Reader version, the new ones are much more stable.
