Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3
For most people, the URL I specify will redirect to http://www.dev-archive.net/articles/xhtml.html, which contains a short hyphen (en dash) in the title. If you go to the reddit commments page of the URL, http://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/75oco/xhtml_myths_and_reality/, the title will contain a long hyphen (em dash) and it will display correctly.
If, however, you have a reddit account which you are logged into and you enabled the reddit toolbar in your preferences, then the devarchive page will be loaded as a frame, with above it a small frame which contains a reddit toolbar. Here the frameset page contains a title with the same hyphen as the reddit comments page, but the hyphen displays as '?—?' instead of just '—'. When you do a view source, it correctly displays '—'.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login to reddit.
2. Go to preferences -> clicking options and enable 'display links with a reddit toolbar'.
3. Go to ttp://www.reddit.com/goto?id=75oco and observe the title.
Actual Results:
Show 'XHTML ?—? myths and reality'
Expected Results:
Should show 'XHTML — myths and reality'
