46063 - Composer causes single spaces within text to multiply into multiple adjacent spaces

Using Commercial 2000072008 on WinNT 4.0 SP4.

Working on deadline so no time to create a reproducible test case, but over the
course of editing a set of essays and repeatedly saving them, I've been noticing
that where I had typed a single space into Normal text, over time those single
spaces have been multiplying into as many as four adjacent spaces. I suspect
this is occurring at Save time but this is speculation.

yep, I see this too. It's easy to reproduce, just bring up an existing file, 
edit it, and somewhere in your edits, enter a few spaces, save it, re-edit and 
continue that cycle several times, you'll see the space grow.
