User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092416 Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.17 (20080914) If an account's junk controls are set up to move junk into the Junk folder of a different account, a junk message will be moved to that other account's Junk folder, but it won't be automatically marked as junk. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set up two different accounts. 2.Set junk controls in one account to move junk to the Junk folder of the other account. 3.Wait for a junk message to arrive in the first account (and get moved automatically to the other account's junk folder); then look at the message in the other account's junk folder and note that it isn't marked as junk. Expected Results: A junk message received in one account and moved to the Junk folder of another account should be marked as "junk" in the other account's junk folder.

version 2.0.0.19 (20081209) OSX 10.5.6 There is an annoying side effect of this problem: I manually file the spam into a couple of subfolders, and when I do, *then* the junk filters kick in and decide it's junk and move it *back* to the junk folder I just moved it out of. I'll just turn off the junk controls on this account, as it's not a real mail account, just a place to save mail, but...
do you see this in version 3? http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/early_releases/ backup your profile before testing (I don't see this when the junk folder for an imap account is set to a local folder, but I haven't tested it being a different imap account)

Rich and Alan have not responded :( I tested and I don't see this problem, setting a junk as target in an imap account. If you disagree, please provide deails.
