As discussed in bug 449540, could we update www.mozilla.com website to improve the contributed builds download experiences for Solaris users?

I guess(correct me if I'm wrong please) that the current bouncer system differentiate users' platform based on the useragent string which can only tell the difference between Windows/Linux/Solaris/MacOS etc. Due to the GNOME dependency, two Solaris contributed builds are provided for Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris separately. And I feel to change the useragent string which has such a long history is a bad idea.

Could we have two green download buttons on mozilla.com for Solaris 10 and
OpenSolaris and let the users decide which one they want? Something like below:

I'd personally prefer the first way as then there is no need to update the contributed builds section for the rel-notes for every releases.

We don't appear to link to these contributed builds in the release notes anymore. Closing - please reopen if I'm mistaken.

This bug isn't about any links in the contributed builds section of the release notes, it's about making Solaris builds part of bouncer and including them in the sniffing on mozilla.com. A Solaris user would see a download link for Firefox on OpenSolaris/Solaris 10.

Feel free to WONTFIX if you still want to, but not because the release notes have removed the contributed builds section.

I think we can mark it at fixed now.
The button now redirects user to a page in opensolaris.org, and there's bouncer links of Firefox for OpenSolaris/Solaris 10.
