When triying to download a .tar.gz file from Windows Live SkyDrive (at http://skydrive.live.com/) the browser doesn't show the download dialog. I am running Windows XP. It does a loading cycle and stays at the same page. The file is stored at a restricted folder (only I am allowed), and was of a small size (less than 100KB).
With Opera web browser, and also with Mandriva Linux version of Firefox I was able to get the file.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to skydrive.live.com
2. Upload a .tar.gz to a personal folder
3. Try to download the file
Actual Results:
There is no download dialog.
Expected Results:
The download dialog should appear.

Can't reproduce without login. Please read http://www.soswd.com/writing_bugs.html, and confirm that you are downloading from the correct place and too the correct place (ie., the same place you can successfully with Opera).
Version: unspecified → 3.0 Branch

Yes, a Windows Live ID is required in order to complete the steps, sorry for that. One of the actual links is the following, but I don't think you will be able to download the file, as it is a "private" folder.

I have just uploaded a .tar.gz to a public folder and the download dialog (in Firefox) appears. And I've just realised (at least at a glance) that one difference is the security: https (private) vs. http (public).
