Upon embedding the code, then finishing your editing, and reviewing or posting your post, you cannot see the embedded image once you move the vertical scrollbar up or down. It disappears. It is gone until you refresh; then the same result occurs again. This does not occur in any way at the original uTube location or, only the referring coded/embedded site using a text editor. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5qakFIecBU 2. Copy and paste the 'embed' code on right side of page into your favorite text editor in a discussion forum 3. Click 'accept' or 'review' or 'post'. 4. Look to see if it appears in the post as an image to click on to start video. Actual Results: Upon moving the right side scrollbar up or down the video literally fully dissappears from view. Expected Results: Cannot click on the video embedded to see it on a forum with text editors used to perform the embedding of the code obtained from uTube. Should see the video and be able to click on it to play it referred from the original source on uTube.
Summary: uTube and Flickr HTML coding embedded into text editors disappears. → uTube 'embed' coding into text editors disappears at discussion forums.
It appears to me that this is NOT an issue anymore. Somehow, someone fixed something to correct this via another bug matter. I will call this fixed.
Well, at least with Mac OS 10.5.X everything seems fine, but it is still occurring with 10.4.11. So, the issue still exists for me. Sorry about not testing it on both my Macs.
Is this an issue in other browsers too? Have you tried Safari? Does it works with Firefox (nightly trunk builds)?
This now appears FIXED for 10.4.11. I did not test it on Firefox nightly, does work on Safari 3.1.2 and Minefield 3.1b2pre (Firefox trunk?) om 10.4.11. I am just assuming 10.5.x works fine based on past results.
This is now FIXED on 10.4.11 and works on Firefox trunk, Safari, and Seamonkey nightly. I'll assume 10.5.X is fine from experience.
