When the scrolling stops they restore to their correct fixed position. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Vist url with position:fixed element on Linux build of firefox 3. 2.Scroll up and down Actual Results: The position:fixed element violently shifts pixils up and down while scrolling up and down. Expected Results: The element shold remain totally fixed in place as with firefox 3 on windows and osx. 1. Verified this issue on 4 gentoo linux machines and one arch linux machine. 2. The problem cannot be reproduced on any OSX or Windows builds we tried. 3. The problem does not exist on firefox 2 on any machine we tried.
I can confirm this bug on 2 different machines, Ubuntu and Gentoo.
