No controls work on the mapquest screen after bringing up a map

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter location in starting directions box (e.g. enter ft myers, FL). 
2. Click Get Directions button
3. Map loads and present user with a box pointing to the city center of Ft Myers
4. Attempting to click the close button (the X) results in nothing happening. 
5. The box should close but does not.
6. Also none of the controls on the screen work (e.g. the zoom capability)
   Works correctly in the public version of FireFox 3


Expected Results:  
should eb able to zoom into a map and control any popups that appear
