Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081027 Minefield/3.1b2pre
In Firefox 3.1b2pre I am unable to drag any images from inside the browser window to the desktop, or any other folder to save them.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load a page containing images.
2. Click and hold the mouse button down and move it outside the window.
3. Nothing happens, there is not even an indication that the image is being moved.

I am not able to reproduce this problem using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081028 Minefield/3.1b2pre. I can drag images from images.google.com to the desktop as well as images from the NY Times front page. Try starting in safe mode to see if that resolves the issue.

I always able to reproduce this problem.
I tried safe mode, and was unable to reproduce the problem there. I tried disabling the plug-ins and found that when Cooliris (formerly PicLens) was disabled the problem no longer occurs. The question now is, who's problem this is. I will report this issue at cooliris and see what happens.

If it only happens with an extension, then it gets reported to the extension's author - if it turns out to be a problem where the extension can't work as intended without a change in firefox, they can file a bug with more detail.
Resolving this as invalid, it can be reopened if necessary.
