Given that bug 459744 seems unlikely to go anywhere productive in the near future, I'm just going to hack around it in BrowserWindow.
Stuart, do you still plan to fix this for 2.0?
Hopefully; we'll see what happens. I really don't want to leave heavy keyboard users that broken.
Presumably fixing this would also paper-over whatever bug/feature is causing us to behave differently than Firefox in bug 475102, too?
Thanks to the work-around in 459744, we no longer need to do this.
