Sometines i need to mail somme documents to several adresses.
I do not use a list because when creating a list with existing addresses, these addresses are duplicated in my address book.
So, i mail to several individuals addresses and, twice today (first time was one week ago), when "sending", Thunderbird duplicate all addresses in the book(except 4 on 20).
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. creating a mail (template with "Quicktext")
2. entering some individuals adresses (in my case about 20)
3. sending

Are you using a different case for the email address? or is it the additional address you are sending to?
The mailing list issue you mention first is bug 85687

No response from the reporter to this question, I think all these possible issues (apart from bug 85687) should be fixing in Thunderbird 3 by various bugs, or are duplicates of other bugs. Duping to bug 85687 as that is the closest to the original problem.
