User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.17 This bug affected an account which had multiple identities. At least one identity must be using the "Reply-To Address" field (and another identity that does not use this field). The steps to reproduce (this does NOT affect replying or new email composition): 1. Forward an email to bring up a compose screen (you must choose an email that will default to an identity that has a filled out "Reply-to" field) 2. Change Identity to one that does NOT have a "Reply-to" field 3. Enter an email address (Charmaine's email does not allow you to enter more than one entry) It looks like there is something wrong with the software that is affecting the inputting of the To/CC/BCC fields using these steps. If you do fill out the single allowable entry for the To/CC/BCC field and attempt to send the email, you will get the error: Sending of message failed. No recipients were specified. Please enter a recipient or newsgroup in the addressing area. So it would appear that Thunderbird does not recognize anything that is inputted into that field. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
tb17.06 on winxp This works for me using steps from comment 0 and I can't believe it ever happened as described, not even for tb2.
