If you close a window with a single tab, there's no warning on close, and it doesn't appear in "Recently Closed Tabs", so there are clearly other things that need to be fixed.  But one thing that I think is a major oversight is that the history menu does not provide sorting options for entries based on date.  The two obvious ones are sorting by when the document was opened, and the other that is even more interesting to me is sorting by when the document was closed.

This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

If no, please set status to RESOLVED and resolution to WORKSFORME.

Firefox loses sessions at the drop of a hat.  Crashes of the system and/or firefox and/or unexpected loaded documents (e.g. public wifi login pages) will cause Firefox to forget or mangle its knowledge of which documents were open the last time Firefox was open.  

There does not appear to be any way to look through history of recent sessions and restore them manually.

So the whole idea here is to be able to use history as a way to manually recover what was open that Firefox forgot about.  Unfortunately, there is no history sort option for "sort everything by date last loaded into a tab."

So, no, this problem is not resolved.
