Switching folder pane views with multiple tabs makes all mail tabs have the same folder pane view

1) Start up Thunderbird.
2) Open an account in a new tab.
3) In that new tab, select a different folder pane view e.g. unread folders, and select a folder different to the one in the original tab.
4) Select the original tab.

Actual Results:

The folder pane view is now unread folders. If the folder selected isn't in the unread folders list, then the folder you selected in step 3 will be selected, although the tab title still says the original folder name.

Expected Results:

The original tab keeps the folder pane view and folder selection.


I discovered this whilst testing bug 414038, however it can be reproduced before and after the current patch on that bug. I think this could be quite confusing to the user.
