This causes 2 install buttons to appear. (see screenshot)
I just tried uploading two files for the same versions, both Windows-only, and got the message:

Oops! There seems to be a problem with this file...

A version of that add-on already exists. To replace it, you must delete the file minimalist_gmail-1.1-fx-win.xpi first.

Please correct this problem and upload your file again.
"
