Firefox crashes everytime I need to play a swf or flv file due to NPSWF32.dll, my adobe flash player is the latest version, firefox also. I've reinstalled the two and the crash still happens. so I don't know what else should I do.. Please inform what can I do to fix this bug.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open any video in youtube
2. full screen mode
3. firefox crashes 1/2 minutes after starting the video
Actual Results:  
crashes everytime and I loose everything I'm doing. I need firefox to work.

Expected Results:  
playing it until the end.

Try in Safe Mode, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode, with a new profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles#Creating_a_profile,

Now I tried firefox in safe mode and with a new profile.
After 5 minutes same crash again.

Flash version is 10.0.12.36
Windows | 1.8MB


What else should I do to fix it?

Are you trying on other sites? Could you maybe go to one that has a youtube video that is embedded, and let me know what happens. Also, give the crash report id of the one from a new profile.

Less than 5 minutes firefox crashes.

I also tried disabling other plugins, only with flash activated, same thing happens.

I don't think that Adobe can do much without more information because this is also wfm for me with Seamonkey trunk.

This bug was REOPENED on 4/23/10 when the Component field was updated to "Flash (Adobe)" from "Plug-ins". I think this bug shouldn't have been reopened and should be set back to RESOLVED.

michelle: i can do that (and you can too).

reporter: i'm resolving this as worksforme. if you can still reproduce this with the latest releases of flash player 10.0 and 10.1, please provide new bp- id's and hopefully someone from adobe can investigate. otherwise, if you aren't having this problem anymore (and are still alive), it'd be nice if you could indicate this and the version of flash you're using where it works.
