When importing account settings from Outlook Express, the SMTP port numbers are not imported and are instead left as '0'.

This is a long-standing issue present even in 2.0.0.17

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure you have an POP3/SMTP account in Outlook Express
2. Launch Shredder with a new profile
3. Click Tools --> Import... --> Settings. Click Next
4. Choose Outlook Express and click Next then Finish.
5. Go to Tools --> Account Settings --> Outgoing Server (SMTP)
6. Observer that all SMTP port numbers are '0'

I'm not sure what you mean by that. The bug you reference does not fix this issue.
No, but i that fix gives some pointers on where to look...
xref is just "fyi, related, may be of interest".
Ok. Thanks. I wonder why the SMTP port issue was overlooked when fixing the POP3 port issue. Hopefully this time.
Moving bugs from TB: Migration to MailNews Core: Import, as the code for Outlook, OE, and Eudora migration is almost entirely shared within the core import code.

I'm completely revamping nsOEsettings.cpp to import all OE settings.
Hopefully I can get it to add the various accounts that share same POP3 servers as multiple identity and also reuse/share the smtp settings.

So if someone else is working on this file keep updated we don't cross up.

fixed in Bug 470725
This does not appear to be fixed. I've just tried the Dec 29, 19:50 PST hourly build (comm-central-win32/1230607896), with a new profile, and all SMTP ports are "0" from doing: Tools --> Import... -> Settings --> Outlook Express

I will check again with tomorrow's Nightly.
I guess I meant dup this to Bug 470725. No use checking I was waiting on further review of that bug and word on how to proceed. When that bug is resolved it will resolve this one
Ok duping.

IU, it would be great if you could test my patch and see if it works for you. It works fine on my run but no one else has tested yet.
