Although they display a title, when you check the properties, you get a window with 6/7 blank fields: Name, Location, Feed Location, Site Location, Keyword, Description. The seventh field is a displayed is a folder labeled Create In. None of these fields can be edited/saved, nor can the bookmarks be deleted. Four of the empty bookmarks are contained in folders. The folders can't be deleted either. My suspicion is that these are damaged sqlite records, but I have no way of verifying that. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
can you attach a screenshot of the properties? did you try in safe-mode to exclude extension-issues?
In response to query from xtc4uall, I've attached a screen capture of the properties box of one of the bad bookmarks. This bookmark appears as: CHANCELLORSVILLE, VIRGINIA although I don't believe I ever had a bookmark with that label. Also tried safe mode to see if that affected any change. It didn't
This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
