46411 - Mail panes change size when viewing crossposted message

Repeatably, when viewing certain messages, the top two panes (I'm using the
layout with folders+thread panes sharing the top, message pane all the way
across the bottom) get confused about the position of their splitter, and
resize, and then continue to jump around as the mouse is moved over them for as
long as the message is visible.  As soon as I click on another message, things
go back to normal, with their previous correct sizes.

I'll attach one such message which does this repeatably (saved via "Save as" in
4.x, since mozilla crashed when I tried to save as from there).

This appears to be happening when you select a message with enough
(cross-posted) newsgroups so that the newsgroups: line is more than will fit on
the line/window width. (We already have a bug somewhere about the fact this line
doesn't wrap or have the widget like mail addressees do to collapse/expand the
line's list)  Once you select a different message that has a newsgroups: list
which is able to be fit in the window width, the display problems correct.

Nominating for nsbeta3.  This really looks amazingly bad, when it happens, and
it takes quite a while (several resizes happen and each one is slow) so it's
very noticable to the user.

Before marking this nsbeta3-, make sure you've seen it happen yourself, probably
on a nonwindows platform.
