file to translate

Please translate the attached html file, it will be used on the new landing page for your locale and will help promoting your locale.

It will be hosted at http://www.mozilla.com/YOURLOCALECODE/

You can see how it will look like there:
http://www.mozilla.com/af/

Note that there is a string in the blue header leading to the English site [Visit Mozilla.com (in English)], you can put the translation in the comments of this bug if you prefer to have this string appear translated.

If you have any question or doubt, don't hesitate to ask in this bug.

When you attach your translation to the bug, please attach it as text/plain and not text/html.

Thanks

Please translate this file instead, it is more up to date than the attached file:
http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/oc/index.html?revision=19669&content-type=text%2Fplain

Thanks

Note about the page, it should be displayed in right-to-left direction.

Concerning the header, here is its translation:

[زُر Mozilla.com (باللغة الإنجليزية)]

I have landed the necessary CSS fixes on https://he.www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/he/, and described it on bug 464306.

Would you like to use the same layout for your landing page?

you should be able to connect with your LDAP credentials. If you have forgotten your ldap password, we can ask for it to be reset.

Pascal: please use an RLM character before the sentence:
[زُر Mozilla.com (باللغة الإنجليزية)]

or switch it to:
[(باللغة الإنجليزية) Mozilla.com زُر]

so it can be displayed in the right order.

Thanks

Anas, could you add a translation of the MB string in http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/ar/includes/l10n/main.lang?revision=20162 ?

this should solve the display bug in the download box. Please tell me when you feel the page is good enough to go live, thanks.

I added the translation of "MB".

But what about the OS name that appears in the download box? How to translate it?

Another thing, what is the plan for firefox and thunderbird landing pages (expecially for firefox 3.0.5)?

Thanks

you can add the translations of the OS strings in main.lang as well.

This page is the landing page for Firefox. The landing page for thunderbird will be on mozillamessaging.com but the site isn't created yet, it will be done for thunderbird 3.

Marking this one fixed, I made a small css change to not have the thunderbird paragraph so far from the text boxes. There is a small display bug in the download box in IE6 but it's still readable and we can live with it. Thanks!
