Version: unspecified → 3.0 Branch
This regressed in the first half of 2006.
Component: General → Layout: Form Controls
OS: Mac OS X → All
Product: Firefox → Core

Hardware: PC → All
Version: 3.0 Branch → Trunk
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 .logInInput { height:17px; width:105px; } <input id="login" class="logInInput" name="login"/> ^^ That's the code that produces this problem, if you remove the "height:17px" (or make the font bigger) the problem disappears. IE though displays it fine...
On Linux, this regressed when natively themed form controls landed. Does using "-moz-appearance:none" on the control fix the problem on Windows? It certainly helps on Mac, though not all the way. For mac, this is bug 403558, but the Windows issue might want a separate bug to see what happened in 2006 there.
