User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.18) Gecko/20081029 Firefox/2.0.0.18 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.18) Gecko/20081029 Firefox/2.0.0.18 Downloaded the 2.0.0.18 update automatically last night. Chose to install upon next start up, which was this morning. All other normally accessed programs are working fine, but I can not open, reply to, access any Yahoo emails. I can get to the main Yahoo mail page after I log in to Yahoo, but all I get is an indefinite "loading message....." error message. No preview of the email is available. No response when clicking on their "click here to try again" message. No messages are readable, new emails, old emails, saved emails, folders difficult to load and will not show messages. Yahoo mail is working properly in IE. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. log in to yahoo email 2. try to read any message, new or old. 3. Actual Results: see description of problem Expected Results: I would like to be able to use email program as it is intended. I don't like using IE.
I am having the exact same problem!
Yep also had this problem. Traced it down to a problem with a JavaScript, in this particular case, http://l.yimg.com/d/lib/bc/bcr_2.0.4.js Blocking it with adblock plus is a temporary solution. Also had the same problem on another Yahoo page (TV Guide). In this case the offending file was http://l.yimg.com/ao/i/unihd/js/unihdjssav_2_23.js Both Pages seem fully functional without these scripts running, but in both cases pressing the stop button has no effect on the scripts.
