User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.18) Gecko/20081029 Firefox/2.0.0.18 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.18) Gecko/20081029 Firefox/2.0.0.18 Ever since the update on 11/11/08 I can log into my yahoo mail classic and read my messages and move and delete them as normal, but when I hit reply, and I type my response and then hit send, it won't send it. The same thing happens when I try to open attachments. However, if I Copy my response, then go back to the inbox, click on the message again, click reply again, and paste the message then quickly hit send (all this has to happen in 3 seconds or less) then it will send it. The same goes for attachments, if I click the attachment the second the windo opens it will download it, but if I take a minute to red the e-mail and then click on it, nothing happens. Every thing functions normally in IE. Also, please know that I'm not the only person having this problem, two of my friends are also having this issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.log into yahoo mail 2.click on a message 3.click reply 4.spend a few minutes typing a reply 5.click send OR 1.log into yahoo mail 2.open an email with an attachment 3 [review].spend a minute or so reading the e-mail then try to download the attachment. Actual Results: the page acts like it's going to send the message, but freezes up and does nothing. OR The page does nothing. Expected Results: It should send the message after a few seconds. OR scan the file for viruses then ask if you want to download it. If either process is done quickly, within a few seconds, it works as normal.
Can't repro on 3.0 branch using: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4
Version: unspecified → 2.0 Branch
I'm using Windows XP, maybe that's the difference?
hmm can't repro using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.18) Gecko/20081029 Firefox/2.0.0.18 Reporter: have you tried this in safemode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox)
