User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4 Sometimes i get the message a update is installed, whether i want to restart firefox now or wheter i want work now. I see no possibility to deactivate these updates, or anything like "ask again next startup". Do firefox at least check a MD5 or anything like that @ update?. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.wait till next update is available. 2. You have not to do anything, you have no choice to install or not, it will force you. Actual Results: A update is installed without your aggreement, possible not checked for bad code . Expected Results: Ask the user whether he want install now or not. This error you can reproduce on all systems i`ve tested.
The checks are always done, the process is as open as the source code. See https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Team/What_We_Do#Test_Execution
