User-Agent: Opera/9.62 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) Presto/2.1.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:220.127.116.11) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 I switched to Firefox earlier this year and liked the product, but then recently I couldn't create new bookmarks; I couldn't even edit existing bookmarks. I followed all the various advise, deleting some store thingie, but nothing worked. So finally I switched to Opera, which works beautifully. I did see when I googled that others are having this difficulty. You really do need to fix it. I routinely copied the places.sqlite to my network drive that I am able to access via VPN and then copied it into the firefox directory on all my other computers. That was no problem until the bookmarks stopped working. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
