As we're seeing with Firefox 2, it'd be nice to have strings that can declare the end of life of safebrowsing in the product. Updating the website is fine, but it's likely to get ignored by users.

I'm not entirely sure how to write it and am hoping johnath can help here.

I know there's a hit with taking the string now, but this would make life better in the future and would likely allow us to backport the string to Firefox 3 if/when we need to use it.

Thoughts?
Firefox 2 / Firefox 3 are ancient history by now. Closing.
