Details
It should be possible to search Socorro for crashes by build date. This is important for nightlies, as we're approaching a release. It's useful to be able to see "what's the list of top crashes for today's nightlies". (We have enough data that those numbers are meaningful.)
But querying even the past 4 hours of data for all 3.1b2pre builds isn't sufficient, because when we're approaching a release and we've recently fixed a bunch of crashes, many of the more-common crashes from people using a more-crashy nightly from a few days ago clutter up the list, and we need to manually go through each one and then realize that it's already fixed.

yeah, I searched for all Socorro bugs with "date" in the subject...
