Start firefox, open a website and save its URL in toolbar as a bookmarks. Start firefox in safe mode,click "Continue in Safe Mode", problem appears ...

If can't reproduce, just remove ~/.mozilla/ and then repeat the steps above.

In safe mode,any toolbar customizations should be reverted back to their
defaults temporarily

The savemode is by default just Firefox without addons and third-party themes and it doesn't reset any toolbar positions and of course it will show saved Bookmarks.
