Produces a blank page and no indication of an error

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Access my web proxy when it is unwell.
Actual Results:  
Blank page, Address bar completed & "Done" in the status bar.
All giving the impression that the website is delivering a blank page.

Expected Results:  
Error message of some type giving the message: "504 Gateway Time-out"
