firefox will not close when moving from site to site

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. FF start page
2. e-mail log in at windows live
3. check inbox
4. reply to an e-mail
5. system locked up
6. "red x" out only way to escape
7. FF icon on desktop
8. msg: FF running, must close or restart
9. task manager end session only way to get out

Actual Results:  
that works, but has to be performed repetitively every single time moving from site to site

Expected Results:  
my e-mail reply should have been sent

If you still the bug, then please post a comment with the version you tested against, and the problem. If the issue is no longer there, please set the RESOLUTION to  RESOLVED, WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
