User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20081129 Minefield/3.1b3pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20081129 Minefield/3.1b3pre In nightly builds following 3.1b1, text copied from a webpage in Firefox does not paste properly as plain text in a Gyazmail e-mail message. This is most noticeable when copying/pasting news articles with Unicode symbols and images. Apple Mail and Thunderbird appear to be unaffected. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a page such as the linked article from the BBC. 2. Copy text and/or images. 3. Create a new mail message in Gyazmail and paste into it. Actual Results: -Extra line breaks in between paragraphs disappear -All images within the copied section are pasted as inline attachments because of the disappearing line breaks -Some double quote marks and other symbols sometimes become garbled (but not always) Expected Results: -A double return after each paragraph -Attached images also have double returns separating them from the surrounding text at both the top and bottom -Unicode symbols such as curly quotes are pasted as UTF-8 characters. I am running a current nightly build on Mac OS 10.5.5 (Intel). Gyazmail is at version 1.5.8.

Based on your screenshot, this is the same issue as already reported in bug 466599. (I don't have Gyazmail to do some testing myself there).

This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

This text is from http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101102/ap_on_re_us/us_homeownership I selected text from the title of the article through "and for rent." and pasted it directly into Gyazmail. The images pasted in as attachments, and there is no gap between paragraphs.
