User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008103100 Firefox/3.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008103100 Firefox/3.0.4 When accessing the site the realplayer plugin is loaded and attempts to play. At times it does. At other times it fails and FF crashes. If FF doesn't crash it will when I close FF. I reinstalled FF after realplayer thinking this might solve the problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. link to url above 2. click on realplayer to start it 3. close firefox Actual Results: crash report produced Expected Results: normal close of firefox This is the most current firefox and realplayer. I'm using opensuse which was installed yesterday.
After following the recommendations on 1) starting Firefox in safe mode, 2) getting a stacktrace, and 3) Bugs:an application crashed, I accessed the url listed above. It does not present the realplayer plugin to me and firefox doesn't crash so I assume that the plugin is the problem and not Firefox.
we'd still like a stack trace... but yes, it sure sounds like it's not our fault.

This was solved by unstalling RealPlayer10 using YaST and installing RealPlayer11GOLD.bin, installing in /usr/local.
