Details

Whenever I install a new nightly build, the list of installed themes is empty the first time I start mozilla. If I quit and restart mozilla the themes are present.
You have to have write access to the mozilla directory or rrun mozilla once as root, in order to produce a database for the themes. Once the DB exists, themes appear normally. This will explain why on the first run you don't see the themes- the DB hasn't been created yet. Resolving as INVALID. (Nothing personal, but there simply isn't a more polite resolution for this.)

feel free to verify these (or reopen, if still a problem) if i don't get around to it beforehand. if you do so, pls do remove the verifyme keyword after verifying a given bug. thx!

Presumably this database building will happen properly for a first install when the product actually goes out? The current behaviour is a bit confusing though, and I suspect you'll end up with a lot more bug reports about it. Perhaps some alternate behaviour could be arranged (a message saying the database is being built?). Or is this just not an issue?
vrfy.
