It is very common to search the same stuff in several websites. Say, I want to search the word 'boudoir' simultaneously in Wikipedia (w), in Google (g), and in my favorite French dictionary (tlf). I would expect the location bar to detect when I type several (N) search engine keywords in a row, and open N tabs, and let each engine search for the rest of the typed line.
Pattern (please note the spaces) :
(keyword )*(word )*word
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the location bar
2. Type 'w g tlf boudoir' and hit Enter
Actual Results:
I get the Wikipedia search page for input 'g tlf boudoir'
Expected Results:
Open tab 1 with the Wikipedia search 'boudoir'.
Open tab 2 with the Google search 'boudoir'.
Open tab 3 with the French dictionary search 'boudoir'.
Basically the issue is exactly the same whether you try to use bookmark keywords or search engine keywords.

I disagree. What brings you to this assumption? Any stats for that?

Unfortunatly not.
100% of myself, which represents roughly 0% of the total amount of firefox users.
This appears to be a good idea, but won't be used by much users.
I suggest this should be added, voting.
Also the should the platform should be changed to all cause -
Computer != Windows
Firefox is a Microsoft product
and
Technology != Microsoft

The intended behavior for multiple searches is the multi-search project https://wiki.mozilla.org/Features/Desktop/multi-Search
There is no plan to open multiple tabs in the product for searching, though an add-on could provide this functionality.
