I have on a thumb drive which is very convenient for using other computers. When I tried to update to 3.0.4 FireFox did not install or work, and what's more it corrupted so I (fortunatley) had a complete file set back up for the thumb drive. works well on the thumb drive, 3.0.4 doesn't work at all!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Tries to install 3.0.4 update on thumb drive several time. It did not work
Actual Results:
Clicked on 3.0.4 update from and it totally messed up my thumb drive installation, and would not work in any version.

Expected Results:
Expected 3.0.4 update to work on thumb drive. It FAILED!

Installed seamlessly as most updates have done instead of messing up the ability to use FireFox on my thumb drive. And yes there's plenty of space it's a 4gig drive.
