When Firefox forces updates to be accepted, it doesn't attempt to restore tabs.  If the browser shut down in such a way that tabs could be restored on next start, then when it starts next it gives the user a choice of restoring tabs or starting fresh.  Users force shutdown for this very reason--to be given the choice on next start.  

But when auto-updates are applied (for example if Firefox updates are refused and it states it will do those updates anyway the next time it's started), then when it performs the forced updates on next start-up, it fails to save the tabs list.  So the user loses all the tabs.

It should be trivial for Firefox to ALWAYS give the choice of restoring the last full set of tabs since the last time tab restoration was deliberately rejected by the user.  This would let Firefox force its upgrades and still prevent information loss to the user.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Reject Firefox's request to apply updates it has found.
2.  Watch while it says "Well then I'll do it on next start anyway."
3.  Open a bunch of tabs.
4.  Ctl-Alt-Del to get Task Manager
5.  Highlight Firefox in Applications window
6.  Click "End Task" button
7.  Wait 10 seconds until "End Now" button appears; hit "End Now"
8.  Try to restart Firefox, expecting it to offer you a chance to restore tabs
9.  Watch while Firefox Updates run whether you wanted them or not
10. After updates, curse and swear while you notice all the tabs are lost.
 
Actual Results:  
The cursing and swearing part in Step 10 above.

Expected Results:  
Firefox should always let you restore to the FULL LIST OF TABS LEFT OPEN SINCE LAST TIME YOU REFUSED TAB RESTORE.

That's it.  This problem has persisted forever.  There is no work-around that I can figure out.  Fix should be an easy mod.  Thank you for taking it seriously.
