Some Firefox windows, usually configuration menus are too large to be fully displayed on devices with small screens.  These windows typically do not have vertical scroll bars.  Since the buttons to save, cancel, etc. are typically at the bottom of the window and the window is too tall to display the buttons, such programs are largely unusable.  

Particularly reporter complains about Firefox (and equivalent in Thunderbird) *when run in KDE and/or LXDE* to show dialogs for Preferences - Advanced - Network - Settings - Proxy, Firefox Preferences - Privacy - Private data, and Preferences - Main - Add-ons requiring more than 440 pixels height to fully display all of the information and allow it to be fully functional.

Window too big to be useful.  Window does not fully fit on screen.

Expected Results:  
Window displays at size equal to or less than the usable screen space available
on the monitor and all data, options, and features are available.

Reporter, please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in a fresh profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Also update your plugins (flash, adobe reader, java, quicktime, silverlight, etc.) Go to the developer's website and download the latest version from there. If you no longer see this issue, please close this bug as RESOLVED, WORKSFORME. If you do see the bug, please post a comment.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
