Both my daughter and myself have experienced this recently on seperate computers on the same home network. In my daughters case she saw a confirmation of a travel booking and it went when she tried to open it.It has not gone into another folder. Mine have not been important emails which I have been expecting.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on a particular email in a group of new emails whilst mail is still arriving

Do you setup any filters that could move the file ?

We don't have any filters and the problem seems to gone now. I wondered if it was an ISP issue.

As the problem stopped as quickly as it appeared I suspect it might be an ISP issue but thanks for the info.
