I subscribed to a rss feed (using firefox) based on a username, sadly my username was changed (it's no longer [e-mail], it's now [e-mail], ok, it's a hypothetical based on a real example)

expected results:
rss content indicating an error

actual results:
html content served to an rss reader which causes great confusion.
