I get a message that looks like it's coming from Norton saying that a virus, Trojan.Zlob.G, is present and I must update my security system. When I get into Firefox the screen says that the browser is insecure and I have to update my system. I don't know if Norton is generating this or if it is really a virus.... The first sign that your system is infected with Trojan.Zlob.G would be a security alert popping up on your screen saying that your browser is insecure and needs to be protected to avoid unwanted negative consequences for your system’s functionality and privacy. Once you click on this alert, you will then be redirected to the website promoting Perfect Defender 2009 (PerfectDefender2009) utility. From this moment on, you’ll receive a number of fabricated pop-up alerts, claiming that your system is infected with a Trojan.Zlob.G. All of which allege to be an intruder capable of extorting your most private data. These multiple alerts will keep coercing you into purchasing the Perfect Defender 2009 ‘licensed’ software. Perfect Defender 2009 is fake anti-spyware that takes over your computer via a rootkit. It's recommended that you backup all the data you don't want to lose to CD, format your harddrive and reinstall your Operating System from the original install disks.
