in compose, ^K should delete to end of line, or, if at end of line should delete the line-end. this used to almost work.

with tb 3.0b1, this broke. it deletes backward and has other strange behavior.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter some text in multiple lines
2. go to some position in a line other than first
3. hit ^K
Actual Results:
deletes backward

Expected Results:
should delete to end of line

TB 3.0 beta 2 does not show this bug at all.
MUA: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090223 Thunderbird/3.0b2

(This bug was 100% reproducible with 3.0 beta 1, so I think we can close this)
This was actually bug 462188 - both go through ExtendSelectionForDelete, but far fewer people use ctrl+k (see bug 462188 comment 21 where the person writing the patch doesn't know for sure whether there even is a shortcut to delete to end of line) so that part never made it into the summary.
