Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. enter some text in multiple lines 2. go to some position in a line other than first 3. hit ^K Actual Results: deletes backward Expected Results: should delete to end of line

TB 3.0 beta 2 does not show this bug at all. MUA: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090223 Thunderbird/3.0b2 (This bug was 100% reproducible with 3.0 beta 1, so I think we can close this)

This was actually bug 462188 - both go through ExtendSelectionForDelete, but far fewer people use ctrl+k (see bug 462188 comment 21 where the person writing the patch doesn't know for sure whether there even is a shortcut to delete to end of line) so that part never made it into the summary.
