If a <select> has a CSS-border applied to it on Mac OS X the style of it will change to Windows style and not use the Aqua-interface. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a simple HTML-page and add a <select>
2. Add some CSS to it. A border for example
Actual Results:  
The style of it will be changed to Windows-style

Expected Results:  
Added the border to the <select> or ignore the rule
